The sandwich is made with sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on rye bread. This classic Reuben sandwich is a delicious combination of flavors along with Miss Vietspice- Organic Chili Powder and a great way to use leftover corned beef.

  • 2 slices rye bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter (soft)
  • 2 tablespoon sauce Thousand Island dressing
  • 2 ounces corned beef (sliced or shaved)
  • 1 ounce of sauerkraut (well-drained)
  • 1 ounce Swiss cheese (or Gruyere, sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon  Miss Vietspice- Organic Chili Powder

  • Preheat a large griddle or skillet over medium heat.
    • Spread 2 slices of rye bread with Thousand Island dressing. Place a layer of sauerkraut on one slice, then top with a slice of corned beef and a second slice of Swiss cheese and put on Miss Vietspice- Organic Chili Powder. Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up. Cook until golden and crispy underneath, about 5 minutes.
    • Flip the sandwiches, pressing down gently, until the second side is golden and the cheese melts, about 3 minutes more. Transfer sandwiches to plates.
    • Repeat with the remaining bread, sauce, corned beef, sauerkraut and cheese.

Tips: Swiss cheese can be replaced with sliced or shredded Munster, Havarti or Gruyere.

Enjoy an explosion of flavor with the classic Reuben Sandwich and Miss Vietspice- Organic Chili Powder!
